Soap Dish (2021) The form for this piece was inspired by a visit to 101 Spring Street, the cast iron building that served as Donald Judd’s home and studio in Soho. The purpose was to make something elemental, hardworking, sculptural and wonderful to use. I wanted this piece to feel like it’s always been there, holding your favorite bar soap next to your sink.
